Flood Daze celebration is Aug 17, Sunday in the river park in Gays Mills starting at 11 am and continuing into the afternoon. This is a celebration of the community's survival of 2 floods.
At 11 am there will be an ecumenical worship service. A potluck will follow at noon. The local Locker will provide brats, burgers and hot dogs, there will also be a "vegetarian option", and baked goods for dessert. Bring salads and fruit plates, no mayonnaise please. An ice cream social will start at 1 pm, Classic kids games will start at 2 pm and an apple race which will cost $1. Everything else is FREE. Ben Logan will speak after 2 pm. Old time music will start at 4 pm to 6 pm. Bring a LAWN CHAIR or blanket to sit on.
