FATAWU SAYIBU is a Traditional African Master Dancer and Drummer from Ghana who will be in Minneapolis for four months to teach anyone willing to learn! His individual, group, or family classes are a wonderful experience, as Fatawu brings light and joy into the hearts of all of his students! !e dance classes are a great workout and fun for individuals of all ages and skill levels. This is a great way to learn about a beautiful culture, have a blast with one-on- one lessons, family, or friends! !e drum lessons are fantastic for anyone wanting to learn unique or traditional drum rhythms and techniques; Fatwau has been playing drums since the age of four and actually "speaks drum," a dialect in Tamale (a small village in Northern Ghana). Fatawu teaches many of the children in his community for free, keeping them off the streets and aware of their cultural background and traditions.

All proceeds earned during Fatawu's visit will be applied towards his dance school in Ghana, which pays for school fees and overall care of students that attend his classes. Make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children in Ghana, get an amazing workout, and have an extraordinarily fun experience all at the same time!!
