Quite a while ago I heard about a PBS series on atheism entitled A Brief History of Disbelief.  It had good reviews and so I looked to see when Wisconsin PBS would air it.  Alas, the powers there took a pass on the show.  Until now.  I just received this email from Angie Whitiken:

Thank you for contacting Wisconsin Public Television regarding "A Brief History of Disbelief."  This program will air on May 25, 2008 from 6:00 am to 9:00 am.

We understand that this is an early morning time slot; we are trying to be responsive to our audience yet need to work within our own scheduling constraints to accommodate the lengthy series.

If you are unable to watch during this time, we encourage you to record the show for later viewing. This will be the only showing and the series is not available for purchase.

So fire up those video recorders or TIVO it-reports are it is quite well done. Apparently it can't compete with those auctions and Irish tenors and self-help gurus that need infomercial time on PBS these days.
