Randall and Smith (none / 0) (#2)

I appreciate your comparison of Max Ward Randall and Gerald Smith.  The influence of people like Smith is loud, hateful, fearful.  Men and women such as him carry a lot of weight in our culture; people follow their leads, cite their examples.  On the other hand, Randall's influence is harder to see.  It is in the heart, in the soul, is quiet and does not call attention to itself.  It is an influence of love, of spirit.  It is my belief that this is the more powerful influence:  its work is slow, but lasting.  It slowly grows and gains its strength by being of God.  That influence is evident in your article.

Thank you for your review, and your memories.
